This award is presented to someone for their inventive and unique programming ideas. Please note that it does not have to be a similar program that was done before but rather the distinct ideas that was used and implemented. It can be awarded to individuals or to a group. nominate

This award is given to someone for being the energy and motivation behind programming, ideas, events and socials. He or she can also be the ones who are encouraging others in a constructive way within the residence halls and present him or her self as a positive individual. Anyone can be eligible for this award. nominate

This award goes to students who are maturing and developing in their leadership positions. This person is learning from and overcoming their mistakes and should be going above and beyond his or her line of duty to better him or her self in the given leadership position. To be eligible for award, this individual must hold a leadership position within the residence halls (Resident Advisor, Academic Advisor, Community Assistant, Hall Council E-Board, RHA E-board, active Hall Council E-Board member, active RHA committee member, etc.). nominate

This award is given to someone who is going through a tough time and yet still exerts an astounding amount of time and effort. He or she is still willing to put forth their best through the challenges he or she faces. nominate

This award is given to residents who did something that was unexpected. He or she surprised you (or others) when they did a really good job with something, performed an act of kindness or just deserve some recognition for an extraordinary accomplishment. nominate

This award goes out to someone who deserves a very special thanks for anything he or she has done. Nominations can be made to any residence hall student or staff member. nominate

This award is given to new student leaders living within the residence halls who are developing leadership skills and qualities. This should only be given to students who have had little to no experience as a student leader - this is especially great for freshmen. nominate

There is a story about a gentleman who questions why a person is going to extraordinary measures to throw a starfish back into the sea. When asked the question the rescuer responds, “because it makes a difference to this one.” Giving a dried starfish to those who are outstanding in reaching out to others makes for an appropriate and touching award. nominate

This award goes out to someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Nominations can be made to any residence hall student or staff member. nominate

This award is given to any student or staff member when they “Blow You Away” with all their hard work and dedication. He or she is passionate, dedicated, and exerts an amazing amount of energy towards a cause. nominate

This award can be given to any resident or staff member who did a really good job with something, made a difference in their community, performed an act of kindness, went above and beyond, put on an extraordinary event, or surpassed challenges. nominate
